Check release evidence before buying equipment for a profession.
Check release evidence before buying equipment for a profession.
A concept page explains intent. A roadmap shows development planning. Neither alone proves a feature is available in the live game.
Use the live release notes, current gameplay guide and your installed build together. Write down the exact part of the feature you want to use.
Open the linked official source and read its date and status. Look for a released gameplay procedure, rather than interpreting a concept ship or roadmap card as a playable career.
You can label the feature as playable, announced or still awaiting verified implementation.
If the source only describes an intention, do not buy equipment on the assumption that a current paid loop exists.
The same published instructions in one readable view. Use the steps above for controls and practice panels.

If it did not work: If the source only describes an intention, do not buy equipment on the assumption that a current paid loop exists.
Engineering and item fabrication have released implementations. Their official guides also identify future work, such as fuller wear systems and additional crafting capabilities.
Do not label an entire profession unavailable because an old video predates its release, or fully complete because one part now works.
List the actions the ship can perform now separately from the future role described in its sales material. For a learning session, select one of the currently supported actions.
Expected result: The session has an achievable outcome without inventing a mission system.
If it did not work: A specialist interior or component does not prove its advertised production loop is enabled.
Our decision method: join another player, borrow or rent where available, perform the whole loop and record the missing pieces that matter to you.
For data running, science, farming, base construction, passenger services or other evolving roles, confirm the specific mechanic through current release evidence. Carrying a friend today does not prove a complete passenger economy.
Use the published released-feature notes to choose an available activity you can practise now. Revisit the planned profession when its controls, objectives and result can be documented.
Expected result: You have something playable to learn and a clear evidence threshold for updating the guide.
If it did not work: A date on a plan can change. Avoid presenting waiting as a required step in a working walkthrough.
This page is an evidence-checking reference, not a definitive claim that every named future profession is absent in all builds.
Avoid buying a concept ship on an assumed release date. Our catalog distinguishes manufacturer role descriptions from verified operational walkthroughs.
