      Reviewed ship fact contributions

Current independent corrections are reflected in the facts above and in catalog search, filters and comparison. Imported reference data and immutable review history stay intact. Material corrections earn current hull credit once per contributor and independent reviewer, not per revision. Existing private ship wishlists can receive one in-app notice; no email is sent.

      Plan a useful session
      YOUR FIRST USEFUL SESSION

Take one rover out and bring it back to the 600i.

Rehearse the actual vehicle lift, a short surface route and a checked return without treating a proposed rework as installed.

SC Nomads planning advice. The linked visual guides contain controls, illustrated steps and dated sources. Hull-specific facts: CIG 600i Q&A, 31 August 2017 design reference; Alpha 4.8 service caveat , reviewed 2026-10-20; source reference, not a gameplay verification.

      1. STEP 1

Try the lift empty, then with the intended vehicle

While landed, walk the entrance and operate the actual vehicle lift empty. Load the chosen vehicle only after checking clearance, your exit and access to the lift controls.

Ready when: You can leave the vehicle, reach the ship and repeat the unloading route.

        Why it matters

The 2017 Q&A describes a rover lift, not a maximum-fit test. Do not infer clearance from dimensions or copy another 600i variant. Abandon the trial if the lift or exit is unusable.

        Open the practical guide
      2. STEP 2

        Drive a short out-and-back leg

Mark the ship location, agree a turn-back time and drive one short route. If the ship moves, have the pilot confirm a new pickup before you continue away.

Ready when: The ground team can return to an identified pickup and report who is aboard.

        Why it matters

The old exploration scanning stations are a design reference, not a promise of a present paid exploration loop. Use the current navigation lesson rather than inventing a scanner hotkey.

        Open the practical guide
      3. STEP 3

Recover the rover and check offered support

Return on a clear approach, load without people below the lift and inspect the vehicle condition and any offered restock interaction before another sortie.

Ready when: Vehicle and crew are recovered and the next departure does not depend on an assumed service.

        Why it matters

CIG Alpha 4.8 describes ground-vehicle restock provision for the 600i Explorer. That is not a promise of repair or refueling every vehicle. A proposed 600i medical rework is not an installed hospital.

        Open the practical guide

Selected community reports, checked 2026-10-20. Confirm the current price and availability at the terminal before spending aUEC.

No dated offer included for this hull yet. This does not mean it is unavailable.

Rental rules, resets and source limits

Rentals are temporary access, not ownership. The PU rental timer continues while logged out, and rented component loadouts cannot be customized. Daily rates above do not establish discounts for longer rentals. RSI rental rules (updated 2026-04-28).

In-game purchases are distinct from pledges and may be affected by Alpha resets. RSI in-game purchase guidance.

      PEOPLE AND PREPARATION

What changes when a friend joins?

      When you are alone

Keep the first surface trip close to your parked ship. You cannot fly the 600i while driving the rover, and a lost lift or inaccessible entrance can end the trip.
