Sleeping berths

6 reported sleeping berths: 5 crew bunks + 1 captain berth

Six sleeping berths were reported for Alpha 3.16.1: five in the crew quarters and one for the captain. Medical props are counted separately. This dated layout reference does not guarantee that every berth supports bed logout in the current game.

Captain’s quarters

Captain's office; Separate captain's dorm; Captain's WC

Pilot weapons

2 × size4 top remote-turret guns, default pilot-slaved

CIG Alpha4.1 explicitly names the Carrack top remote turret as slaved by default; current matrix supplies its2size4guns. Zero fixed-gun objects does not mean unarmed. An occupied operator station can change control; no blanket remote-turret inference.

Depends on configuration · Current published reference

Solo use

One pilot can fly; separate crew stations and away-craft roles remain separate

Default pilot-slaved top guns do not let one person simultaneously staff the three manned turrets. Park safely before leaving the pilot seat; launching a Pisces leaves no pilot aboard unless another person takes over. The 2019 Q&A considered automatic recall, without establishing a delivered autopilot.

Crew weapons

Three manned turrets, each with two size 4 CF-447 Rhino repeaters; One remote turret with two size 4 CF-447 Rhino repeaters

Eight fitted guns: six on the rear, left and right manned turrets, and two on the remote turret. CIG describes default pilot slaving for the top remote turret; an operator can change control. These are not eight pilot guns. Access routes and handoff controls have not been retested.

Refuel other craft

2019 design intent: refuel a correctly landed Pisces from Carrack reserves

The Pisces designer Q&A promised hangar refueling in future tense. This historical statement does not establish that Carrack can currently refuel ships. Current ground-vehicle restock provision is recorded separately; carry enough fuel for the return trip.

Restock / rearm other craft

Ground-vehicle restock provision

Treatment / imprint / MedGel requirements

Assigned imprint + functioning bed + MedGel + within range

Interact with the bed to assign regeneration; Carrack listed T 2 means minor/moderate treatment, while severe injuries need T 1 or hospital care. Stay within 8,000 km of the functioning bed and maintain MedGel. Destroyed bed, depleted supplies or excess range sends regeneration home. This is not an 8,000 km healing beam.

Pledge package contents

Depends on actual parent entitlement / pledge

Check the exact parent entitlement: ordinary Carrack and explicit w/C8X variants differ. Included secondary craft need not appear in the pledge item list, do not stack and are lost when the qualifying parent is upgraded away or reclaimed. A physically fitting craft is not automatically owned.

      Reviewed ship fact contributions

Current independent corrections are reflected in the facts above and in catalog search, filters and comparison. Imported reference data and immutable review history stay intact. Material corrections earn current hull credit once per contributor and independent reviewer, not per revision. Existing private ship wishlists can receive one in-app notice; no email is sent.

      Plan a useful session
      YOUR FIRST USEFUL SESSION

Keep the Carrack expedition, away craft and medical handoffs separate.

Rehearse one short away trip while retaining a staffed receiving ship and a real recovery destination.

SC Nomads planning advice. The linked visual guides contain controls, illustrated steps and dated sources. Hull-specific facts: CIG Alpha 4.10.2 Known Issues, updated 9 October; checked 19 October 2026 , reviewed 2026-10-19.

      1. STEP 1

Walk the receiving ship before the away trip

While parked, identify the actual landing access, crew route and medical bed. Agree a short rendezvous and what happens if either craft cannot return.

Ready when: Both pilots can describe the receiving location and a safe point to stop the drill.

        Why it matters

The 2019 Pisces Q&A described a Carrack mothership role and future servicing ideas. It is not evidence that current automatic refueling, drone support, remote recall or every small ship fit is implemented.

        Open the practical guide
      2. STEP 2

Treat arrival as a separate medical handoff

Have the receiving medic report the bed’s actual tier and supplies. Assess whether the patient needs a hospital, then coordinate a clear transfer without abandoning flight control.

Ready when: The crew distinguishes a recovered shuttle from a patient who has actually reached adequate care.

        Why it matters

The current matrix mentions onboard medical facilities, not a guarantee that every injury can be cured aboard. Check the current medical guide and keep a hospital alternative.

        Open the practical guide
      3. STEP 3

Account for carried craft before ending the session

Check people, stored equipment, remaining fuel and the carried craft’s condition; plan a separate service stop before the next sortie. Before considering bedlogging, read the current carried-ship issue.

Ready when: The crew has an explicit next-session and craft-recovery plan rather than assuming everything will persist.

        Why it matters

The 4.10.2 carrier bed-log report names Idris, Polaris and Tyilui; it does not establish a reproduced Carrack bug. Our recovery check is a precaution, not proof that this hull is affected. An old mothership-service promise also does not verify current servicing.
