Minor Repairs Needed: outpost maintenance
Prepare the named repair kit, carry replacement fuses, repair objective pipes and verify the work order before leaving.
Prepare the named repair kit, carry replacement fuses, repair objective pipes and verify the work order before leaving.
Choose Minor Repairs Needed from Citizens for Prosperity when that offer is available. The inspected briefing estimates three fuses, a salvaging tool and RMC canisters sufficient for roughly three pipes. Those are this minor-job briefing’s estimates, not the requirements of every Maintenance contract.
The briefing names Cornerstone Developments’ Guide to Maintenance in mobiGlas Journals. Read that entry alongside the accepted objective before departure. This walkthrough combines a current extracted briefing with dated player procedure, not an SC Nomads gameplay test.

Open Contracts and inspect the available Maintenance offers. Read the exact issuer, destination and requested repair kit. If you choose this minor offer, count the requested fuses and check that your compatible repair tool has usable RMC before accepting.
You can name the selected outpost and supply requirement, and the required kit is carried rather than left at a shop.
If the named offer is absent, do not substitute an unrelated contract or assume your standing guarantees access. Read the requirements of an offer you actually have.
The same published instructions in one readable view. Use the steps above for controls and practice panels.

mobiGlas (Toggle) > CONTRACTS
Open Contracts and inspect the available Maintenance offers. Read the exact issuer, destination and requested repair kit. If you choose this minor offer, count the requested fuses and check that your compatible repair tool has usable RMC before accepting.
Expected result: You can name the selected outpost and supply requirement, and the required kit is carried rather than left at a shop.
If it did not work: If the named offer is absent, do not substitute an unrelated contract or assume your standing guarantees access. Read the requirements of an offer you actually have.
The destination is filled in for each contract. Use its actual location and objective, not a memorized planet or universal outpost route. The December 2025 field report describes missing markers, inaccessible objects and broken garage ladders. It does not establish that those faults persist in your build.
Accepted contract > current destination and repair objectives
At the named site, inspect the accepted contract and the reachable broken pipes or missing fuse positions it identifies. Separate the fuse task from the pipe task and note what remains before consuming supplies.
Expected result: You know which repairs belong to this contract and can reach them with a route back to transport.
If it did not work: If markers are absent, compare the contract address with the visible worksite once. If the objective is obstructed or a ladder unusable, keep an exit route and record that fault; this walkthrough does not prescribe a floating-ship jump or clipping route.
The original player describes opening inventory and using the fuse’s right-click Carry action before fitting it. This is a dated December 2025 observation with no recorded build. The source does not establish a universal fuse-socket prompt label or shortcut.
Personal inventory > selected fuse > right-click Carry; dated player procedure
Open carried inventory, select a replacement fuse and use its right-click Carry action if offered. At the contract’s missing or failed fuse position, use the placement interaction actually shown. Recheck that position and the remaining fuse objective before taking another fuse.
Expected result: The fuse is installed at the intended position and the objective or local state reflects the change.
If it did not work: If Carry or placement is unavailable, inspect the actual item and prompt before consuming more supplies. Do not remove working fuses from an unrelated installation to force progress.
The named briefing requires a salvaging tool and RMC for pipe repairs. The input below reuses the site’s existing CIG-sourced repair control, including its configured-input caveat; it is not a new outpost-specific binding.
Equipped Cambio tool > repair input
With the compatible repair tool and filled RMC canister fitted, aim at the reachable damaged pipe identified for this contract. Apply a short repair burst with the existing repair input, release it, then compare the target indication and remaining objective.
Expected result: The intended pipe’s repair state changes and the contract acknowledges the work, or you can identify which readback did not advance.
A visible beam alone does not prove that you repaired the intended system.
If it did not work: If a beam appears without progress, check RMC, fitted tool, target and the actual objective. Stop if the tool is stripping rather than repairing. Do not consume every canister repeatedly on an unacknowledged target.
A visually repaired pipe and an installed fuse are separate from the contract’s final result. The extracted mission describes a component-replacement stage but does not supply a verified universal completion terminal or button.
Accepted contract > current objective and result
Reopen the same accepted job. Compare its remaining fuse and pipe work with the positions you serviced. Complete any still-required interaction the objective actually presents, then inspect the recorded result.
Expected result: You can report completion or the exact unresolved task, rather than only a tool effect.
If it did not work: If the work looks finished but the contract remains active, preserve the title, location, build and stuck stage. Do not announce success, invent a completion-button label or promise that relogging will credit it.
This is one bounded work order, not a guaranteed income route. The old field report’s ladder and obstruction failures are reasons to check access early, not instructions to improvise an unsafe roof entry.
Worksite > your planned return route > carried kit check
Account for anyone working with you, return by the route you kept accessible and inspect remaining fuses and RMC. Record the contract outcome and the one fault or supply shortage that matters before taking another job.
Expected result: The crew and remaining equipment are back at transport, and the next plan uses the observed result.
If it did not work: If a required object is unreachable or the task remains stuck, use the existing contract-failure guidance before abandoning. No payout, reputation change, spawn location or current workaround is guaranteed by this example.
