Current independent corrections are reflected in the facts above and in catalog search, filters and comparison. Imported reference data and immutable review history stay intact. Plan a useful session
      YOUR FIRST USEFUL SESSION

Bring a Zeus ES survey crew home with a usable route record.

Practise a short reconnaissance outing without pretending planned scanning missions or MR equipment are installed.

SC Nomads planning advice. The linked visual guides contain controls, illustrated steps and dated sources. Hull-specific facts: CIG Zeus Mk II Q&A, historical access and variant distinctions , reviewed 2026-10-20; source reference, not a gameplay measurement.

      1. STEP 1

        Rehearse the three access choices

While landed, identify the cargo ramp, ladder and airlock described in the Zeus Q&A. Walk from the chosen entrance to the cockpit with your normal equipment.

Ready when: Everyone can identify their return entrance and can reach a flight seat without depending on a cargo box as a step.

        Why it matters

These are dated CIG access references, not three interchangeable boarding hotkeys. If an entrance fails, keep the other route clear and finish the drill while safely landed.

        Open the practical guide
      2. STEP 2

Record one observation, not an invented mission

Fly a short route to a known destination. Stop safely to note the location, approach hazards and actual scanner information, then compare the return route with the navigator.

Ready when: The crew has a usable observation and a named return destination, rather than an unverified claim of discovered or sold data.

        Why it matters

ES exploration equipment is distinct from the CL tractor and MR interception design. Read the current reference panel; do not expect MR restraints or a CL loading station to appear on this hull.

        Open the practical guide
      3. STEP 3

Return before turning it into an expedition

Check fuel and damage, request an appropriate landing and account for every crew member before storing the ES.

Ready when: The pilot completes the return while the navigator can explain the route and any uncertainty in the notes.

        Why it matters

Advertised endurance and shields are not immunity to bad weather, navigation errors or hostile fire. Repeat this short route before accepting a distant retrieval or escort commitment.

      Where to get this ship

Selected community reports, checked 2026-10-20. Confirm the current price and availability at the terminal before spending aUEC.

No dated offer included for this hull yet. This does not mean it is unavailable.

Rental rules, resets and source limits

Rentals are temporary access, not ownership. The PU rental timer continues while logged out, and rented component loadouts cannot be customized. Daily rates above do not establish discounts for longer rentals. RSI rental rules (updated 2026-04-28).

In-game purchases are distinct from pledges and may be affected by Alpha resets. RSI in-game purchase guidance.

Pledge availability and real-money prices have not been checked in this snapshot. Official ship information. An in-game offer does not establish pledge availability or that a game package is included.

      PEOPLE AND PREPARATION

What changes when a friend joins?

      When you are alone

Choose one destination, verify the return fuel in the actual HUD and record the route while safely parked. The ES badge does not turn every contact into saleable survey data.

3 advertised crew. This is an advertised crew reference, not a solo recommendation or passenger-seat count.

Record my Zeus Mk II ES setup and results

      Prepare before departure

      • A small first load or short return route
      • A handling tool and personal supplies
      • An agreed stop call and a receiving destination

Engineering access varies by hullOfficial reference · Assigning an engineer to this crew

The official 4.8 table distinguishes full, partial and basic implementations. A working console does not prove every component is physically accessible.

      What helps

Walk the repair route and check the current implementation before assigning repair duties.

Accessible Size 1 and 2 components can be exchanged in flight. Larger components need hangar replacement.

      What helps

Check size and physical access before buying spares. Carry the appropriate repair tools and plan a service stop.

A field repair is not a factory resetOfficial reference · Restoring a destroyed component

A repaired destroyed component is not fully restored. If destroyed again, it needs docking before another repair.

      What helps

Repair enough to return safely, then service the ship. Do not budget repeated destruction as unlimited repairs.

Listed crew is not a solo recommendationPlanning check · Planning to run this ship alone
