      Plan a useful session
      YOUR FIRST USEFUL SESSION

Prepare both Cutlass Red beds before a two-patient call.

Keep flight, bedside care and the receiving-facility handoff distinct.

SC Nomads planning advice. The linked visual guides contain controls, illustrated steps and dated sources. Hull-specific facts: CIG Healing and Medical Treatment, checked 19 October 2026 , reviewed 2026-10-19.

      1. STEP 1

Give each bed its own readiness check

Before departure, read each bed’s displayed tier, condition and MedGel level. Confirm the medical tool and a clear patient-transfer path; do not assume another bed’s reading covers both.

Ready when: The medic can name the ready bed and actual care available before dispatch.

        Why it matters

CIG’s current medical reference makes treatment and regeneration supply-dependent. Our two-bed checklist does not assert shared or independent reservoir plumbing, current stock quantities or a new refill shortcut.

        Open the practical guide
      2. STEP 2

Match the patient to care, not the ambulance label

Assess the injury and scene, stabilize as appropriate and have the pilot confirm a usable destination before moving the patient aboard.

Ready when: You know whether onboard treatment is sufficient or the patient still needs a higher-tier facility.

        Why it matters

Minor, moderate and severe injury treatment are different capabilities. The historical 3.15 ambulance description is not a current blanket no-regeneration rule; read the present bed status and current medical caveats.

        Open the practical guide
      3. STEP 3

Confirm the receiving handoff before the next call

Use the receiving facility’s actual access and treatment process. For an accepted assistance beacon, inspect its completion result after the patient transfer, then recheck both beds and portable supplies.

Ready when: Patient destination, any contract result and readiness for another pickup are separately confirmed.

        Why it matters

The emergency medical drop-off at an attached hangar is documented in the current medical guide. Healing a patient aboard does not alone prove a beacon payout or make the landing zone secure.

Rentals are temporary access, not ownership. The PU rental timer continues while logged out, and rented component loadouts cannot be customized. Daily rates above do not establish discounts for longer rentals. RSI rental rules (updated 2026-04-28).

In-game purchases are distinct from pledges and may be affected by Alpha resets. RSI in-game purchase guidance.

      PEOPLE AND PREPARATION

What changes when a friend joins?

      When you are alone

The matrix describes two medical beds, not two simultaneous jobs one pilot can safely perform. Rehearse one patient in a quiet place before accepting another; stabilize the ship before leaving flight controls.

2 advertised crew. This is an advertised crew reference, not a solo recommendation or passenger-seat count.

Record my Cutlass Red setup and results

      With your crew

Assign pilot and medic. The medic tracks each patient separately and tells the pilot which receiving facility can finish treatment. A spare bed is not proof of spare supplies or additional protection at the pickup.

Regeneration has a range limitOfficial reference · Leaving your selected medical bed

The current reference gives T3: 50 km, T2: 8,000 km and T1: 750 million km. A failed or out-of-range bed sends you home.

      What helps

Select the bed and check its actual tier, range and status. All three tiers support regeneration; old no-respawn advice may be obsolete.

      Regeneration costs 100 cSCU. Capacity is T3: 200, T2: 400, T1: 600 cSCU; treatment also consumes supplies.

      What helps

Carry spare 200 cSCU canisters and refill the bed port. Count supplies before accepting another rescue.

Stabilization is not a full cureOfficial reference · Choosing where to take an injured player

T3 beds treat minor injuries. Moderate injuries need T2 or better; severe injuries need T1 or a hospital.
